Non-Revenue Water Management in Adana, Turkey

Improving the quality and quantity of water for 1.5 million people
Since September 2007, Berlinwasser International has been supporting the city of Adana in Turkey in its water loss reduction (non-revenue water) project, to improve water supply services to the roughly 1.5 million residents, via 400,000 water connection points, in Turkey’s third-largest municipality. In the next six months. BWI’s team of experts will lay the groundwork for efficient organization at the city’s water provider, so that residents receive more, better-quality water from an operation that places a greater emphasis on customer-orientation.

Berlinwasser International already has several successful projects in Turkey under its belt, including projects in Istanbul, Tarsus and Denizli. On-schedule completion, high quality and economic feasibility constitute a powerful advocate for Berlinwasser. Adana’s water and wastewater agency and ASKI, the local water supplier, are BWI’s partners in the city.
